The Russian invasion of Georgia started a few hours ago.The evacuation of NATO personnel has begun. There is a heavily armed column moving along the highway from Kaldahvara, heading towards our base at Gudauta. Flights of non-essential personnel and equipment to Sukhumi-Babushara have commenced.

We have a plan to stop the invasion cold. The column will have to cross 2 bridges en route to our base. If we can take out these bridges while the column is between them, we think they'll be trapped and paralyzed near the village of Mugudzyrhva. Then the Georgian air force can swoop in and strike.

Enemy forces have infiltrated Gudauta AFB & have become a concern. Terrorists with armed speed boats located on the shore of the Western side of the AFB are making deliveries and let me tell you.. they aint no Fed Ex. Intel tells us they are supplying weapons & communication equipment to the Base. Also identified at the Base among other installations is a newly installed & active SAM SA-11 & patrolling the area is a Mig-29A.

A Terrorist group has just loaded trucks with weapons & equipment from a roadside Outpost in Anapskaya & will soon be heading North West along a Coast road, destination Anapa-Vityazevo AFB. There is also a SAM SA-6 Kub at the Southern end of this Base & at the North end is a Fortified Outpost. And a SU33 "Flanker-D" has been spotted launching from a boat to the West & if that's not enough a Mig-29A is warming up his jets at Anapa. Previously we were turning a blind eye to these activities but now the situation has become a concern that demands action.

The enemy is transporting artillery,weapons and equipment to Belsan AFB. The main routes they are using are punctuated by a series of Rail and Road bridges which have to be well lets say..  deconstructed.

MISSION TRACK MAY NOT WORK WITH SUPERCARRIER UPGRADE

This is a Mission I fly when I want to test new DCS settings, hardware or OBS settings. The explosion is really consistent when the SLAM-ER missiles hit the bridge and S-300/Buk Air Defence systems. I put them really close together bottlenecked on a bridge and with fuel trucks all around. It's not meant to be realistic. It makes the explosion always happen about the same so it's a great stress test. It's also a fun mission.

I included a Track file you can open in Replay from the main menu if you just want to benchmark with it, not fly the mission.

*Sometimes the S-300 system blows itself up. Smoking carelessly I guess.. Just make sure you check F7 before setting up your missiles.
